Claes Ottelid is a guitarist and singer, working in various fields of music, noteably Swedish folk music, playing the traditional fiddle tunes on flamenco guitar, and argentinian tango, both as a guitarist and a singer in various constellations.
Having released a solo CD, “Gitarrpolska” in 2006, a new CD, “Alonso’s Tune”, is due in February 2012. This time Ottelids flamenco guitar is blended with the cajón, conga, and other percussion instruments played by Stephan Jarl. Ottelid is also joined by brilliant guest appearences by the likes of Dan “Gisen” Malmqvist, Mats Edén and Filip Runesson.
